About Me

I’m Samuel Lowe (he/him), a mathematician, data scientist, and software engineer specializing in platform work and full-stack web development, based in the greater Boston area. I’m currently consulting as a data analyst at the Center for Strategic Politics and as the lead software engineer for Oasis Management Inc. At CSP I designed the weighted single transferable vote algorithm behind our 2025 New York City mayoral primary poll, which was featured in the New York Times. At Oasis, I lead a team of four engineers building the Django platform and mobile app that run the business, now used by over 50 employees.

I graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2023 and an M.S. in Applied Math in 2025, mostly focusing on probability and number theory (specifically elliptic curves).
